Indian nationals must apply for and successfully complete pre-arrival registration online before they can visit or transit Hong Kong visa-free. Indian nationals in direct air transit and not leaving the airport transit area do not require a Hong Kong pre-arrival registration.

Hong Kong’s Current Regulations for Indian Travelers

  • A new API system has been implemented in Hong Kong by the Immigration Department (ImmD) on 3rd September 2024 for all travelers coming to Hong Kong including the Indian nationals.
