The following categories of Indian National can visit Hong Kong without pre-arrival registration, provided that the normal immigration requirements are adhered to:

Holder of valid Indian diplomatic or official passports.
Holders of UN Laissez Passer coming to Hong Kong or transiting Hong Kong to/from a third place for official business of the United Nations.
Individuals who have enrolled for e-Channel service successfully for regular visitors.
Individuals who hold a valid Hong Kong travel visa.
Individuals having a valid entry visa for Hong Kong.

Indian nationals must apply for and successfully complete pre-arrival registration online before they can visit or transit Hong Kong visa-free. Indian nationals in direct air transit and not leaving the airport transit area do not require a Hong Kong pre-arrival registration.

Hong Kong’s Current Regulations for Indian Travelers

A new API system has been implemented in Hong Kong by the Immigration Department (ImmD) on 3rd September 2024 for all travelers coming to Hong Kong including the Indian nationals.
According to this new regulation, all the airlines carrying passengers to Hong Kong have to provide the travelers’ including the Indian National passenger’s data to Hong Kong Immigration before issuing a boarding pass to them.
If all of your data and documents including pre-arrival registration are in compliance with Hong Kong Government’s latest rules including the API regulation ONLY then a boarding pass will be issued to you on your departure day otherwise you will not be allowed to board your flight to Hong Kong by the airline.

Processing time for Hong Kong Pre-Arrival Registration

The Hong Kong pre-arrival application gets processed almost immediately without any delay.

The maximum duration of such a visit at once should not exceed 14 days.
A new Hong Kong pre-arrival registration can only be made once the existing PAR expires.
